How to earn more on your electric vehicle investment

Engineers are among the most sought after positions in the automotive industry, with salaries rising at a record pace in Australia over the past five years. 

However, they face an increasingly competitive workforce and an increasingly limited supply of skilled workers.

Electronic Engineering Engineers (EGEs) earn about $100,000 a year, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

It’s a figure that has climbed in recent years, according the National Australia Bank, with the annual salary in 2019 rising to $99,000, according an ABS research paper.

The wage rises have not been matched by other types of skills in the industry, according To the surprise of some, the most common type of skills EGEs are able to teach are electrical engineering and mechanical engineering.

For example, electrical engineers are highly sought after to install electrical components, such as transformers, switches, and pumps.

In addition, they can also help install and maintain electrical equipment and provide maintenance and repair services.

While most people expect a mechanical engineer to spend more on their electric vehicle purchase, some employers are looking to the skilled EGE to help meet their energy needs.

Efficient Egero Electric Vehicle Company has been using EGE graduates in its fleet since the early days of its business, according Toke Pohle, CEO of the company.

“When we first started, we had a lot of people coming from a mechanical engineering background.

But now we’ve started to have more people from the electrical engineering,” he said.

Pohle said that EGE students would typically start working for the company with the aim of learning about the electrical industry, but they also needed to take some courses in electrical engineering.

“If you’ve got the right background, we can help you get into this job,” he told the ABC.

Despite the rising salary, the EGE market is highly competitive, and employers are wary of spending a large amount of money on an engineer when their only other option is to hire a mechanic.

Toke Puhle said the demand for EGE skills in Australia was very high and the industry had grown rapidly.

He said that he was aware of an engineer with a Master’s degree who had quit his job in the past six months, citing the high price of electricity in some states.

However, he was unsure if the engineer was still looking for work.

If an engineer were to quit their job, they would be able to find another position within the company, he said, but he had no information on the engineer’s future plans.

Another engineer who spoke to the ABC said that while there was no shortage of EGE candidates, there was a high demand for technicians and engineers in the field.

They said they were not looking for someone who could only work for them, but also could provide maintenance services and help with customer support.

A BOSS spokeswoman said that although they do not provide salary information, the company does not discriminate based on race, colour, national or ethnic origin, age, sex, disability or religious beliefs.

According to the spokeswoman, if a candidate is asked to resign, they will be given an opportunity to reapply.

An EBERN employee, who did not want to be identified, said that it was important that engineers were not just paid to install the systems, but that they were paid for their contribution to the business.

“[It’s] a job that requires a certain level of technical skills and the amount of experience that you have will depend on the skill set of the engineer,” the employee said.

“I think if you’re looking for a career path, you’d want to look at a lot more of a salary range and you’d like to know what the salary ranges are for the other types [of] jobs.”

However EBERN has faced criticism from the Automotive Workers Union and other union members for its handling of the shortage.

BOSS did not respond to questions about the company’s hiring practices, but did confirm that there were more EGE positions available in the sector than there were qualified candidates.
